Abstract

Some issues surrounding systems management techniques are addressed. The paper is based on experience with a multiproject scheduling system and on interviews with many system users. Several behavioural and systems management policies are identified and analyzed in light of emerging management theory. Remedial actions and policies are suggested where management information system deficiencies are evident.
