Abstract

Statistics resulting from a Michigan study are presented which suggest that young male drivers can be divided into six categories: safety younger, safe older, reformed, unsafe, dangerous violations only and dangerous-accident-violations. The statistics cover risky driving behaviour, involvement in cars and social pressures and emotions for each of the six groups.
