Abstract

The authors analyzed the urban travel behaviour of the individuals grouped into categories of similar socioeconomic occupational class. Three travel behaviour sets were developed and analyzed using trip linkage distributions generated by Markov chain analysis; significant differences between travel patterns for the three groups were defined.
