Abstract

The mathematical aspects of the linear programming model proposed by Leininger et.al. are analyzed. The author points out that although the Meininger procedure avoids setting relative weights for the different objectives, it uses implicit weights for which obvious basis exists and therefore the advantage of the procedure is not clear.
