Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to show how to use mathematical models to determine the influence of parameters such as seat stiffness or anchorage points position. The paper is composed of two parts. First concerns seat, second anchorage points position. The influence of these parameters upon the following results: forces in safety belt, resultant accelerations of head, torso and pelvis, horizontal displacements of head, pelvis and knee, are studied.
