Abstract

In a sight-screening-program for drivers carried on in Denmark, was incorporated a simple test for dark adaptation. The test is described. The time for adaptation to a certain threshold of light was measured. The result is discussed, and it is shown that it is possible, by means of this simple method to classify drivers according to their ability to change from light into dark adaptation.
