Abstract

Previous research addressing frontal aggressiveness indicated that a vehicle's response in a fixed rigid barrier crash test might indicate how structurally aggressive that vehicle would be in a frontal collision with a small car. This paper reports on additional crash tests which were conducted and analyzed to more thoroughly evaluate the ability of different crash barriers to measure aggressiveness.
