Abstract

Of great importance to quantitative evaluation of injury to the human head is the ability to describe the mechanical response to the head when subjected to direct impact. The object of this paper is to describe the techniques used for measurement of (1) the fluctuation of the train pressure and (2) the 3-D kinematics of head motion.
