Abstract

The major concern of the conference was to focus attention on human resource utilization. The relevant disciplines are man-power studies, education, training, selection, placement, guidance, work design and system design. The papers discuss, among others, taxonomic problems of educational systems and human performance research, analytical problems of work design, a taxonomic review of the place of the operator within a man machine system, application of manpower techniques, and notes on taxonomics for interdisciplinary communication.
