Mechanice and pathomorphology of impact-related closed brain injuries

Abstract

An injury to the brain is classified as closed even if the skull is fractured by the blow if the dura mater is lest intact. The connection between the mechanical aspects of the brain injury and the morphological aspects of discussed in detail and the point is made that these alterations are predictable by analysis of the mechanics of the jury producing the blow.
