Abstract

A brief description of the probable mechanism of injury of a case of dislocation of the hip, resulting from car accidents, is given. For the convenience of non-medical readers normal X-rays are included to permit comparison between undamaged and damaged bony structures and everyday language is used to supplement medical terminology.
