Abstract

In order to provide optimum traffic guidance, the median on the divided highway must remain in definite contrast to warn drivers of its presence and to delineate its perspective of geometric change at all times. As a result of intensive investigations concerning various aspects of this subject, suggestions for median visibility improvements are presented.
