Medical advisory boards.

Abstract

While a large number of states have established medical advisory boards within the framework of existing state legistlation, 16 have enacted laws specifically establishing such boards and delineating their powers and functions. The present report reviews these 16 laws in the context of comparable provisions of the uniform vehicle code for the purpose of enhancing the participation of medical advisory boards in state highway safety programs.
