Medical aspects of driver licensure : public health service recommendations.

Abstract

The draft recommendations outlined are based on seven functional al classifications: alterations of consciousness, cardiovascular function, hearing, mental condition, musculoskeletal performances, respiratory function and vision. The functional ability required for three types of driving licenses are evaluated and recommended limitations regarding licenses are given.
