Abstract
An interview was held just before the speed limit on motorways was changed on May 1, 1988. Opinions of the drivers were asked about their driving speed and in how far this modification should alter their driving behaviour and if their behaviour was modified by the publicity and enforcement. While these acquired data were not really unbiased, because of the influence by the mass media, the data are compared with earlier interviews.
