Abstract

Most unfavourable effects of alcohol in the ordinary daily activities are due to the loss of behavioural control. Driving accidents may be considered one of the behaviour disorders, which are manifestations of underlying disturbances in mental performance. In the experiment done to the male volunteers, the relationship between changes in the results of repeated mental task test in the process of alcohol intoxication and the corresponding changes in heart rate level was examined.
