Abstract

This paper presents an attempt to integrate the two major approaches in the study of landscape evaluation, the psychophysical and the psychological approach. In the first approach direct relations between properties of the stimulus and landscape quality are investigated, the second is concerned with relationships between different types of subject- based judgments of the landscape.
