Abstract

Various transport policies were formulated by the Greater London Council in recent years in an attempt to improve movement in London. The Environmental Evaluation Method, outlined in this paper, provides a technique for assessing the environmental benefits and disbenefits arising to the community and the built-environment from changes in levels of environmental impact.
