Abstract

A methodology is developed for evaluation of societal impacts of urban transportation systems from quantitatively in terms of time, cost, convenience and comfort. User's preference characteristics needed for the evaluation are expressed by utility functions, relative weights and value functions, which are obtained through specially direct questionnaire method.
