Abstract

This paper presents a methodological framework for cost-benefit analyses of Automated Vehicle Control Systems (AVCS). Main focus lies on the assessment of benefits. Therefore, a traffic simulation model is used. As an example, a cost-benefit analysis is undertaken for the CHAUFFEUR system which involves two trucks that are coupled electronically.
