Abstract

Research methods have shown that pedestrians involved in traffic accidents from a great proportion of the total number of traffic accidents, that the causes and circumstances surrounding these accidents are vague and ill- defined and that the lack of quantitative data explains why preventive action in this area is lacking. This paper addresses the problem of overcoming conflicting information relating to such accidents.
