Abstract

In Italy, recent normative measures have given further stimuli to the development of policies of intermodal integration in the public transport. A consolidated methodological approach for the planning of an integrated system of services of transit transport does not exist up till now. This work is the result of the analysis of successful experiences of integration realized in some advanced contexts and proposes a contribution to the definition of a methodological procedure, with particular reference to fare integration. Therefore, for a first validation, the procedure is applied to the context of an intermodal transit transport network in the Province of Reggio Calabria. For the covering abstract see ITRD E124693.
