Abstract

Experience acquired by more than fifty reconstitutions of actual accidents which have been carried out on the Renault test tracks has enabled conclusions to be drawn. If all precautions (as described) are taken, error of velocity is less than 10% of the value laid down and error of point of impact is less than ± 5 cm. The impact test and the test sled are described.
