Abstract

This study proposed a methodology for clarifying various conditions required for actual system development by using system architecture. This methodology is composed of four steps. Model diagrams in the form of a function model, function allocation model, system model and system allocation models are built in each step. Various conditions required for system development are then extracted through the work of building these model diagrams. Furthermore, system development conditions include equipment that compose the system, information (message sets) exchanged between equipment, procurement unit, configuration of the connection network and its communication protocol. In addition, this methodology also allows the establishment of communication standards by extracting basic communication functions common to numerous systems and embodying their message sets, communication protocol and so forth.
