Michigan traffic accident facts 1988.

Abstract

In 1988 there were in Michigan 410.437 reported accidents of which 150.066 were personal injury type and 303.489 were property damage type accidents. A traffic accident was reported every 1 minute 17 seconds. Children under the age of 15 accounted for 50% of the bicycle deaths. Of those fatal accidents where the drinking condition was determined, 46.6% indicated that alcohol was a factor.
