Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive review of indicators used for assessing the microscopic impacts of dynamic speed adaptation schemes applied on the E22 Highway, situated in the south of Sweden. These indicators express how drivers behave in the road transport environment, and how well they respect the speed regulation. The paper illustrates how the suggested indicators can be used and interpreted to evaluate the risks taken by drivers during the driving process.
