Abstract

In 1972, over half the drivers killed in motor vehicle crashes in Minnesota had been drinking before the crash, and almost half the pedestrians killed had been drinking before they were killed. Still Minnesota’s programs to reduce alcohol related traffic accidents are considered among the best in the U.S.A.. This report represents an updating and consolidation of two earlier publications.
