Abstract

The author comments on the article 'Older drivers in Australia: trends in driving status and cognitive and visual impairment' by LA Ross et al., Journal of the American Geriatrics Society, Vol. 57 (2009), No. 10 (October), p. 1868-1874, stating that the results of a secondary analysis in this article by Ross and colleagues are misleading and may contribute to negative stereotypes concerning older drivers.
