Abstract

Technical oriented traffic management systems should be optimised by adding socio-economic approaches. MOBIKIDS is an example for target group oriented demand management which reduces environmental impacts and improves safety. It shows that telematic applications can also be used for the support of soft measures. Such an integration can only be achieved via long-term comprehensive planning of systematic strategic measures. Based on strict client-orientated and well defined political-organisational preconditions, a flexible use of different platforms to promote the idea of a neutral mobility consulting can be implemented, which takes into consideration all target groups.
