Abstract
Travel demand and the use of the car can be influenced in many ways. One of them is a better adjustment of spatial developments and the developments in the transportation system. Those firms and public facilities who have a high potential for the use of Public Transport by employers and visitors, should be located near facilities for Public Transport. In order to stimulate this development, the policy concept of A, B and C locations is developed in the Netherlands.
