Abstract

A number of characteristics of movements are first discussed. Thereafter mathematical and aggregated models, developed to describe and to forecast the behaviour of movements are discussed. The manner in which the Social Traffic Research is correlated with the possibilities for movements, or with its limits, is presented in more detail. Problems which arise in the study into the needs for movement are mentioned.
