Abstract

The National Spatial Planning Agency and the Central Directorate of Personnel Affairs of the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM) commissioned B&A Groep Beleidsonderzoek en Advies to carry out some research. The aim is to investigate the mobility effects of the relocation of VROM. It is apparent that the transport mode used has changed significantly in journey to work traffic, official visits and other business visits. For example, the proportion of car traffic in journey to work is now 8% (it was 41%). With regard to employees at the VROM head office in The Hague Rijnstraat, this proportion is only 4%. (A)
