Abstract

The problem which face the blind or partially blind persons in the typical urban areas are discussed; e.g. street identification, bus stop identification, obstacle avoidance and safe path maintenance on the railroad crossing. Most cities already have created mobility obstacles that must somehow be corrected. This paper outlines some of the corrective measure that could be implemented with minimum costs.
