Abstract

Mobiville is a project developing a service available on smart phone of areal-time multimodal guidance service. The service objectives are to guide the traveller during his trip using a global positioning system (GPS) mobile phone, and to provide him with real time transport information on various modes. The project experiments on a large scale the service with 3 objectives: development of the service, human machine interface (HMI) of theservice and business case of the service. The project team gathers various skills: technical in the field of real time public transport and satellite based guidance services, ergonomic research, business case study and project management.
