Abstract

The Mezzo-scale is not largely concerned with the design conflicts for alternative forms of motorized transport, but for the broad problems associated with the way consideration for these hinder pedestrian movement and accessibility. The Mezzo-scale represents the sort of journeys that can be made by pedestrians and cyclists, but can be hindered to a considerable extent by both the actual operation of motorized transport and the urban structures.
