Abstract

A computer based model (MOFAT) which has been developed to analyse the financial feasibility of toll roads, is described, with particular discussion of several major issues that have arisen in the model development. The model is applied to a hypothetical corridor to indicate the sensitivity of the financial results to changes in major parameters, such as traffic volumes, loan charges and toll rates. A discussion is added.
