Abstract

The traffic assignment problem consists in the prediction of the number of the number of trips made on each path between every pair of origins and destinations in a network. The dynamic version of the assignment problem allows to study the evolution of the traffic through time. The usual hypothesis on the stationarity of the input flows in the network and on the constant speed of the vehicles on each are abandoned.
