Abstract

This paper discusses the issues associated with models of driver behaviour, and contains an overview of models of drivers that have been described in the literature. Moreover, the process of screening and selection of models is discussed in relation to the parameters and variables that may be relevant for the purposes of the human factor specialist. In this way, a complete spectrum of conditions and requirements for selection can be derived according to the area of application ad objectives of the application of the model. (Author/publisher)
