Abstract
The Conference on "Models of Man" took place in Cardiff and its aim was to identify "ways of working", research strategies and bacil assumptions employed by leading figures drawn from the spectrum of British psychology. The emphasis was on illuminating the similarities and differences between the various approaches with an eye to both practical and theoretical constraints. The aim was not to attempt a synthesis of a single unitary model. The papers of the conference are presented.
