Abstract

Managers of infrastructure projects within the Dutch Ministry of Transport need a clear description of the economic effects involved with the construction of infrastructure. Which effects are important in which circumstances and how can these effects be determined ? Therefore a handbook with methods and figures is being developed by the Ministry. Experiences in other countries appear to be very worthwhile. At short notice statutory directives for economic evaluation are not necessary. (A)
