Abstract
Since some time interest is given to the automation of traffic. Almost everybody has to do something with traffic; active as a driver of a vehicle or passive as a passenger of public transport. The benefits of automation of traffic can be considered from different points of view. Technically seen a better use of the installation is possible, increases the power of the equipment and decreases the burdening of it. From the viewpoint of operation the automation leads to relief of the active road user and to a higher comfort of the passive road user.
