Abstract
The existing models, MADYMO and VEDYAC, as used by SWOV, are too limited for the calculation of mechanical magnitudes. Hardly no direct indications of injuries are obtained, only indication of the magnitude and nature of the mechanic forces causing the injuries. Besides the mentioned models a new model is wanted to translate the results of these models into injury patterns. The progress made in the development of such model is presented.
