Abstract
If belts were compulsory wearing the customer would soon be demanding and be ready to pay for-more convenient belts. New developments are belts with inertia reels, lap and diagonal air bags, harness restraint systems. It is stated that some English industries have a good expertise in safety and design for all kind of belts.
