Abstract

In 2014, at the request of the Secretariat of the National Road Safety Council, nationwide monitoring of road users’ behaviour was resumed. The monitoring process encompassed: measuring the speed of vehicles (including the percentage of cases of failure to maintain a safe distance between vehicles, the use of safety belts, child safety devices, protection helmets and the use of mobile phones while driving. Research was conducted in all Polish voivodeships and included both built-up and non-built-up areas - from motorways to county roads. (Author/publisher)
