Abstract
An example is given of monitoring developments in mobility using the Mobility Explorer (in Dutch: de Mobiliteitsverkenner), which is a flexible model for medium term forecasting of developments in mobility. Monitoring means that yearly developments in mobility are analyzed. Several key factors are distinguished in the Mobility Explorer: demographic developments, car ownership, fuel prices, public transport fares, employment figures, supply of public transport, national income and personal income.
