Abstract
The significance of the motor-cycle lies in its possibility of embeddiment in complex ways of life. Feeling of power, thrill, and roughness are experienced. 185 motorcycle accidents in 1976 are evaluated. The motorcyclist runs a higher risk in an accident, but doesn't tend to be more guilty. Motorcyclists types of offences reflect the three mentioned motivational aspects.
