Abstract

An interview was held under bicyclists and moped-drivers in Dordrecht to their wishes regarding safety, surface evenness, traffic lights, going round, one-way traffic, trip length, priority and cycle tracks on their journey to work. It is concluded that the bicyclists wants the quickest itinerary to his work and that the environment is less important. Discomforts which are important for the bicyclists are surface unevenness and safety. less important are environment, going round and traffic lights.
