Abstract

The ideal motor car is defined as a means of private transportable to give maximum safety, with maximum safety, and at minimum cost. One type of car will not satisfy all the requirements of present road traffic. It will be necessary to have available two types of vehicles, one for use outside urban areas one for town. The main requirements for cars outside urban areas are: - maximum preventive and protective safety - maximum comfort - highest possible cruising speed. The car in town must be a small sized car, equipped with an engine that is able to give it high acceleration capacity, silent and free of harmful gases. Planning for the future must begin with close collaboration of all experts concerned.
