Abstract
The existence of road traffic legislation specifically aimed at motor cyclist safety is known to few people. This legislation makes provision for certain rights of the motorcyclist on the one hand, but on the other hand it also imposes specific duties. In this manual motor cyclists are not only informed of the road traffic legislation directly affecting them, they are also given practical hints for safer road usage.
