A study of over-all fatal motor vehicle accidents, using only the irrefutable statistics of quantity, time of occurrence, and the concomitant motor vehicle traffic, establishes the driver as the prime accident vector. The other inanimate components of the automobile transportation system are definitely secondary accident vectors.
